How to update your Hyundai Vehicle Software
Staying up-to-date is easy.
Take advantage of all the latest features and updates by keeping your Bluelink maps & infotainment software updated to the latest version. On this page, we’ll show you the three ways to do this: Over the Air (OTA), via USB, or with support from your local Hyundai retailer.
Over the Air (OTA)

USB updates
Easy do-it-yourself updates via USB drive.
Getting started – quick guide for downloading updates.

Search by vehicle/model name.
Go to the Hyundai Navigation Update Portal. Then enter your model name in the dropdown list.

Select storage location.
Select a location in which to save the update file(s)/data.

Click download.
It's as easy as that. Download progress is shown in percentage.

Transfer to USB drive.
Plug your storage device (SD card/USB drive) into your computer. Copy the software update to your USB/SD card drive.

USB drive to vehicle.
The last step is to start your engine and insert the USB drive into your vehicle's USB slot. Caution: keep the engine running and don't disconnect during the update process.

Let your local Hyundai retailer update your software.

The Navigation Update should be performed with the engine running.
Caution: The update uses the vehicle's battery. Please ensure that the battery is sufficiently charged before starting an update.
The Navigation system may not work properly if the vehicle engine was turned off during the update. If the engine is started during an update, power to the system may be momentarily cut, which can affect the data transfer and file integrity.
The Navigation Update should be performed with the engine running.
